We believe that celebration and worship of the true and living God is the joyful privilege of His people. The praise and adoration of God in spirit and truth will be a high priority at Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church.
We believe that anointed teaching and preaching of the Word of God without apology is the catalyst for transformation in an individual’s life.
We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.
DEEP COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS- Membership
We believe that life-change happens best in small groups.
We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life. We will strive to balance truth with love and grace in all our relationships. (John 1:16-17; Ephesians 5:15, 29)
FULL DEVOTION TO CHRIST- Maturity
We believe that Christ’s followers should manifest authenticity and yearn for continual growth, as the Son of God modeled by His dependence on the Father in prayer and the Word. (Luke 2:52)

We believe that our church should function as a unified community of servants, using their spiritual gifts for the glory of God and the benefit of each other. (Ephesians 4:1-15)
We believe that our church should be led by those with the spiritual gift of leadership.
INTENTIONALLY OUTREACH FOCUSED – Mission
We believe Christ’s Church is made up of all believers who have received Jesus as Savior and Lord. We commit to work together with all members of His Body to build the Kingdom.
We believe that lost people matter deeply to God; therefore we will actively extend a relevant and culturally sensitive witness of the Gospel into our community and the world.
We believe God has five purposes for His people. It is our prayer that every person God has placed here at MGEFC , whether member or guest will grow daily in these five areas. They are central to our understanding of how Christ desires His Church to grow and remain healthy. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:19-22; 3:20-21) Our values are more than words. They are the compass for our lives and our ministries, keeping us balanced on the five biblical purposes of the church. Our VALUES shape how we strive to do ministry.
OUR DREAM - "A PLACE TO BELIEVE , TO BECOME, TO BELONG"
Our deep BELIEF is that we can be a place of true, passionate worship of God and to celebrate our faith that God himself is life’s greatest treasure and fulfillment. These values and purposes really point to a lifelong journey of learning called discipleship. The Great Commandment to love God supremely is fulfilled in the Great Commission to become and make disciples of Jesus, people with His heart, people with His values and actions. This is the Scriptural process that makes it possible for us to BECOME all that God has planned for us as His children.
Our full potential to honor and glorify Him with our lives is a challenging and difficult process. We need encouragement, support and guidance to keep growing. That’s the power and promise of the church, your spiritual family, your New Community. As believers and disciples who long to grow into His image together as one body. We get to BELONG to each other in deep and significant relationships on our way to maturity.
Sharing Ownership of the Values is More than Voicing the Values.
Every believer at Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church should be able to describe these values, but that is not enough. Commitment to the dream means that we will pray, work, give, and do whatever needs to be done in order to turn the values we believe into the experience we share.
Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church calls people to follow Christ and embrace the values, rather than enrolling members, recruiting workers or raising money. Everyone who shares the vision will be glad to serve. Money will follow the vision God gives. Most of us would rather join a movement than a membership list, work for an eternal cause rather than sign up for a job, and give to a vision rather than a budget.
